The game series is based upon the two great wars that mankind has seen: World War I and World War II. It would be the seventeenth game overall in the Battlefield series. Going by the series nomenclature, we can expect the new title to be called Battlefield VI. The most-recent Battlefield game was Battlefield V that came out in 2018. However, the release date for the game has not been confirmed yet. Till now, there was no Battlefield game that was launched this year and since the news has been confirmed, we won’t see one until 2021. The next Battlefield game would come out next year, game developer EA Dice has confirmed, as per a report by GamingIntel.
